How to use custom font for Tableau data visualization


To customize the font used in Tableau, you need to install the font on the computers that are running Tableau.

This means you need to install the font in your computer for Tableau Desktop, or in your remote server if you’re running Tableau Server.

Once you have the font installed, you can change the default font used by Tableau by opening the Format top menu and select the Workbook... option:

A tab will appear on the left side of the screen to format your Workbook:

The format font set in the Workbook Format will be applied to the whole Workbook.

You can also opt to apply the format on Sheet, Rows, or Columns level.

To do so, right-click on the Sheet you are viewing and select the Format... option as shown below:

And that’s how you can change the fonts used by Tableau.
